We may remove or edit content at any time, for any reason, without notice.
5) MODERATION & EDITORIAL CONTROL
5.1 Moderation approach
We may moderate submissions and comments. First-time commenters may be held for review. Repeat commenters may be auto-approved. Auto-approval does NOT mean we endorse the content.
5.2 Our right to remove / edit / refuse
We may review, edit, format, shorten, expand, paraphrase, reject, remove, or limit access to any content at any time, including for legal risk, safety, quality, or policy reasons.
5.3 No promise to publish
Submitting content does not guarantee publication. We may publish, not publish, or remove content later.
6) USER SUBMISSIONS (TIPS, FORMS, COMMENTS, EMAILS YOU SEND US)
6.1 You are responsible

6.2 Your promises to us

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you also agree to assign to us all right, title, and interest you have in the submission and any related rights. If that assignment is not legally effective in your jurisdiction, Section 6.3 (the license) remains fully effective.
6.5 Moral rights waiver
To the extent permitted by law, you waive any “moral rights” or similar rights in your submission (including the right to be credited or to object to edits). Where a waiver is not allowed, you agree not to assert those rights against us.
6.6 Your name / anonymity
Do not include real names or identifying details. If you include a name, handle, or signature, you agree we may remove it or replace it.
7) COPYRIGHT / TRADEMARK / PRIVACY COMPLAINTS (TAKEDOWNS)
If you believe content on the Site violates your copyright, trademark, or privacy rights, send a complaint through our contact method:

- Read the entire page before submitting and follow the guidelines
- Explain what right you own and what content violates it
- Provide supporting details and a good-faith statement that your report is accurate

9) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (THE CAP)
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $50 CAD OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

- your unlawful or harmful conduct,
- your misuse of the Site.
11) THIRD-PARTY LINKS & EMBEDDED CONTENT
We may link to or embed third-party content. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk.
12) TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, for any reason, including repeated rule violations or legal risk.
13) GOVERNING LAW + VENUE
13.1 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
13.2 Venue
Except where prohibited by applicable law, you agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
13.3 Mandatory local rights
If you live in a jurisdiction (including a U.S. state) that does not allow certain limitations or requires disputes to be heard locally, then those mandatory rules apply only to the extent required. All other parts of these Terms remain in effect.
14) CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms at any time. The “Effective Date” at the top controls. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
15) SEVERABILITY
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in full force and effect.
16) ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and supersede any prior discussions or terms about the Site.
